Field service software for professionals

Run the whole job, from first call to final inspection.

Leads, estimates, scheduling and payments for access control, door hardware and locksmith shops. With openings, vendor pricing and lead times built in.

14 days. No card. Every feature.

The schedule knows about parts

Why installs slip

Every opening runs on two clocks.

Your crew is one. Submittals, fabrication and delivery are the other. Jobs slip when the calendar only knows the first.

  1. 01

    On the estimate

Every line carries its lead time.

  2. 02

    On the proposal

The client sees the earliest install date before they sign.

  3. 03

    On the calendar

Book ahead of a delivery and you get a warning.

Signature features

Four things no other field-service product does.

Render the estimate onto the client's door. Put a passport on every frame. Identify hardware from a photo. Build the submittal in one click.

See all four

One system

Everything from the first call to the last invoice.

Eleven modules. One set of clients, doors, parts and prices.

All features

Your dealer prices, on the line you are quoting.

Connect your ADI, Wesco, Banner and IML accounts. Your price, stock and lead time show up on every estimate line.

Price book and vendor pricing

What are we waiting on? There is a screen for that.

Approve a job and purchase orders are drafted by vendor. One board lists every open line by expected date.

Scheduling and dispatch

Built for the trade

Other software tracks the customer. You service the door.

Every opening keeps its own history, hardware and compliance decisions, from the first survey to the tenth service call.

  1. 01

    Openings

A record per door: hardware, devices, photos and job history.

  2. 02

    Hardware schedules

Upload the architect's schedule. Get openings and a draft estimate.

  3. 03

    Life-safety matrix

Fail mode, egress and fire alarm release per opening, with a sign-off trail.

  4. 04

    Permits and inspections

Permit status by jurisdiction. Inspections sit on the calendar.

  5. 05

    Service plans

Recurring visits per opening, including annual fire door inspections.

Hardware schedule import

Stop retyping the 08 71 00.

Text, PDF, CSV or XLSX. Rundown reads the sets and doors and matches items to your price book. Nothing is created until you confirm.

What is Rundown?

Rundown is field service software for companies that install and service access control, door hardware and locks. It covers the usual loop of leads, estimates, scheduling, jobs, invoices and payments, and adds the things the trade runs on: a record for every opening, hardware schedule import, live vendor pricing, lead-time-aware scheduling, permits and inspections.

What does it cost?

Starter is $99 a month with 3 users. Pro is $199 with 6 users. Business is $349 with 12 users. Annual billing brings those to $79, $159 and $279 a month. Enterprise is custom. Extra users are $25 on Starter and $30 on Pro and Business.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. 14 days with every feature and no card. If you do not subscribe when it ends, the account goes read-only and you can still export your data.

Can you import my Workiz data?

Yes, and we do it for free. Clients, contacts, sites, jobs, estimates, invoices, payments, price book items, service plans and leads come in from Workiz CSV exports. Workiz has no bulk export for attachments, messages or call logs, so those do not come over. Running the same file twice updates records instead of duplicating them.

Is there a mobile app?

There are no native iOS or Android apps. Rundown is a responsive web app that works in a phone browser. Today it is built for the office first. The phone workflow for techs, with check-in, photo capture and signatures on site, is next on the roadmap.

Is Rundown live?

Rundown is a pilot build. Our first shop is moving over from Workiz now, and sign-ups are open. Some features on this site are marked planned. Those are on the roadmap and not in the product yet.
