SMS terms

Last updated October 6, 2026 · Agentic Services

Businesses use Rundown to text their own customers about appointments, estimates, invoices and service. These terms cover two groups: people who receive those texts, and the businesses that send them.

If you receive texts from a business using Rundown

What the messages are

Service messages from a business you have dealt with: appointment confirmations and reminders, notices that a technician is on the way, links to estimates and invoices, payment receipts, replies to your questions, and requests for a review after a job.

Consent

You receive messages because you gave your mobile number to that business and agreed to be contacted, for example on a booking form, a quote request or in conversation with them. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of buying anything.

Frequency and cost

Message frequency varies with your appointments and open work. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.

Opt out and help

  • Reply STOP to any message to stop texts from that business. You will get one confirmation and nothing further.
  • Reply START to opt back in.
  • Reply HELP for help, or contact the business directly. You can also write to us at support@rndwn.app.

Carriers

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy

Mobile numbers and opt-in consent are not sold, rented or shared with third parties for their marketing. See our privacy policy.

If you send texts through Rundown

You are the sender

Messages go out on your behalf under a messaging registration associated with Agentic Services and your business. You are responsible for what you send and for complying with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, carrier rules, CTIA guidelines and any state law that applies to you.

Consent records

  • Only text people who have agreed to hear from you. Rundown records the opt-in state of each contact with its source and time.
  • Marketing messages need express written consent. Do not use purchased or scraped lists.

What Rundown enforces

  • STOP, START and HELP keywords are handled automatically, and opted-out contacts cannot be texted.
  • Automated texts are held during quiet hours, 9 pm to 8 am in your local time, and sent the next morning.
  • Review requests are limited to one per client every 90 days.

Prohibited content

No messages about cannabis, firearms, gambling, high-risk financial offers, or anything deceptive, harassing or unlawful. Carriers filter this content and may block your number.

Usage and billing

Messages are billed in segments. Each plan includes a monthly amount, and additional segments are charged at the rate on the pricing page.

Suspension

We may pause messaging on an account that generates carrier complaints or appears to violate these terms, and we will tell you why.
